Rotterdam armors fire truck for New Year’s Eve | Inland

Due to the heavy violence during demonstrations against the government’s corona policy, the fire service has decided to provide a car with armor. Iron grilles have been installed in front of the windows, such as those on police vehicles that are used at football matches and demonstrations.

“We want to be prepared for anything. The car will be kept on hand in case serious incidents occur,” said the spokesman for the Rotterdam-Rijnmond safety region.
