Rotary Club Canada donates truck for people with disabilities in Salvador Alvarado

Guamúchil, Sinaloa. An important donation came to the Union of People with Disabilities of Salvador Alvarado, thanks to the management of the Rotary Club.

The vehicle, donated by the members of the Rotary Club Alberta of Canada, who allocated resources in favor of this noble cause, was delivered to Laura Soto Lugo, president of the Association of People with Different Abilities of Guamúchil.

It is a truck from Canada, in optimal mechanical conditions, which will serve as transportation to facilitate the attendance of its members to events and activities.

Present at the ceremony were Mayor Armando Camacho Aguilar; Lupita López, president of the Salvador Alvarado DIF System; John Fortunka and Henry Van Hierder, who handed over the keys to the truck; as well as Horacio Castro Angulo, president of the Guamúchil Rotary Club, and other members of the local Rotary club.

During the delivery, Mayor Armando Camacho highlighted the relevance of this support for the group, mentioning that this new means of transportation represents a significant boost for its growth and mobility.

Finally, the mayor mentioned that the unit has good tires and interiors in excellent condition, which ensures that it will be able to provide efficient service for several years, benefiting people with disabilities in the municipality.
