The Rotary club Tielt-Winge Hageland, which supports local initiatives, baked cupcakes for charity. Chairman Pieter Boudry: “Our club baked 300 cupcakes.” That’s quite something: “We have a few seasoned chefs in our club, who have been baking in their kitchen for two days.”
Pieter does not just do that, son Louis knows: “My grandfather died of MS when I was still in the tummy,” he says. “That was an important moment for my mom and dad.” Louis is looking forward to seeing the bikes and cool cars, “because they are really nice,” he says. “But it also supports a good cause. That’s why my dad baked cupcakes to collect money.”
