The drugstore chain Rossmann expanded its branch network last year. In 2020 there should also be further new branches. The group also set a new record.
The drugstore chain Rossmann wants to invest in new stores. A total of 200 branches are planned for 2020, 80 of them in Germany. The group announced on Friday. In the new fiscal year, 200 million euros would be available for investments.
Rossmann breaks sales record
In addition, Rossmann reached the ten billion euro mark in sales last year (previous year: 9.46 billion euro). The group currently operates 4,088 stores, including 2,196 in Germany.
The foreign companies are active in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Albania and Kosovo. International business contributes almost a third of the group’s turnover.
