Marco Rossi made an exclamation point in the Minnesota Wild’s first preseason game. In the 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche, Vorarlberger contributed two assists.
The 21-year-old set Calen Addison’s power play goal to 2-0, after which Rossi began the Wilds win with another assist in extra time.
Rossi also shone at the meeting point. The center won 80% of his faceoffs and scored 19:23 on the ice.
The Minnesota manager praises Rossi
Minnesota manager Dave Evason praised Rossi after his performance: βHe played outnumbered and outnumbered. He played a fantastic pass in extra time, that’s his strength. He is a distributor. He played as if he were part of the squad. “
The NHL season begins on October 7th. The Minnesota Wild will be in action for the first time on October 14 (02:00 GMT).
