Rossi explained that the problem was not new. The rider, who is also the 9 times world champion in motorbike racing, explained that he has often experienced similar problems since 2019.

“It was from Barcelona 2019, in the test. When Yamaha made some changes, and from there I started having a lot of problems with the tires,” he explained.

Rossi’s race results in the Doha MotoGP were worse than the Qatar MotoGP, where he could finish 12th in the inaugural series. Now, Rossi is still stuck in 14th place in the MotoGP standings by only collecting 4 points.
