Roselyne Bachelot is back to her ministry, Monday April 12, 2021. The Minister of Culture therefore seems to be on her feet. Yet a few days ago she was hospitalized and placed on “enhanced oxygen therapy”, after contracting the coronavirus. In fact, on March 20, three days after receiving the first dose of her vaccine, she tested positive for Covid-19. However, her health deteriorated rapidly and she had difficulty breathing. Aged 74, just after the Minister of Labor, she has the second member of the government to have to be hospitalized because of the Covid. After a week of hospitalization, it was on April 1 that she was finally able to reach her home. Although her state of health no longer seemed to be of concern, she still needed rest to recover well.
On April 8, she had also given her news and assured that she was getting better and better. “Glad to see you again! I regain my strength every day. My thoughts of solidarity are with all those who suffer, as well as their loved ones. I express my deep gratitude to the nursing staff, who everywhere in France, do a remarkable job.“, she wrote on her Twitter account.
Roselyne Bachelot has a lot of work ahead
Feeling better Roselyne Bachelot decided to return to his office. And as much to say that she should not be unemployed.
