Rose McGowan slammed celebrities for expressing solidarity against Texas abortion law, including her former “Charmed” co-star Alyssa Milano.
Rose McGowan took the time to cast a major shadow over his old one Charm co-star Alyssa Milano, among other celebrities, for sharing images in support of women’s reproductive rights in the wake of the Texas abortion law that went into effect on Wednesday, September 1. The 47-year-old actress tweeted a screenshot of Alyssa’s latest Instagram post. The Courageous the author mocked these solidarity efforts again by retweeting a comment that alluded to the hapless celebrity singing “Imagine” during the March 2020 quarantine lockdown, led by Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. Rose’s former sister on TV wasn’t her only target on Thursday – the activist also turned her attention to Hillary Clinton, whom Rose vehemently mocked. Twitter after the former presidential candidate expressed outrage over the Texas abortion ban.
While Rose and Alyssa’s feud isn’t new, it’s been at least a year since the premiere publicly denounced the Mistresses actress. In August 2020, Rose accused Alyssa of being “toxic” on the set of Charm and alleged that she “stole” the founder’s #MeToo movement Tarana Burke for his own gain. “You stole #metoo (a brilliant communication tool, not a movement) from Tarana,” Rose said. “You co-opted my movement, the Cultural Reset, for fame, jealous of me for taking out my rapist,” Rose continued, referring to her 2017 allegations via Twitter that the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein raped her.
It’s been a busy week for the Scream actress turned activist. Sunday August 29, Rose tweeted his disapproval of Oprah Winfrey as she shared a seven-year-old photo of the media mogul kissing now convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. “Glad more people are seeing the sad truth from @Oprah. I wish it was real, but it isn’t. Friends with Weinstein to give up and destroy Russell Simmonof the victims, it supports a sick power structure for personal gain, it is as false as they come. #lizard, ”she wrote. The actress of “Jawbreaker” then double on her comments days later from what appeared to be a hospital room where she may have received treatment following a recent deadly hornet attack on Saturday, August 28.
