Moscow. The Progress MS-29 cargo spacecraft of the Russian corporation Roscosmos successfully docked with the Poisk module of the International Space Station (ISS), according to images broadcast live on the entity’s website.

Progress MS-29 was launched into space on Thursday at 15:22 Moscow time (12:22 GMT) with the help of a Soyuz-2.1a rocket from the Baikonur space center.

The Roscosmos cargo ship carried more than 2,400 kilograms of various cargo to the ISS, including food, fuel for the orbital platform, almost half a ton of drinking water and equipment for the orbital platform.

The resupply mission also brought equipment and materials to the space station for research experiments that study the digestive system, crystal growing and 3D printing, among others.
