The artist and producer Rosalía, winner of the GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY awards, releases a new song, “TUYA”. Following the sonic exploration of her groundbreaking album MOTOMAMI, “TUYA” is a sensual and free song. Produced by ROSALÍA and other collaborators, it contains reggaeton mixed with koto strings, Japan’s national instrument.
For Rosalía, one of the most visually fascinating artists on the current scene, a song is not complete without an avant-garde video clip to accompany it.

Shot entirely in Japan, the video shows Rosalía and a furry companion wandering the streets, deep in thought. While enjoying the charms of Tokyo.
The video is a love letter to Japan, a country for which Rosalía feels great affection and respect. Rosalía has been inspired for a long time by the community, music and art of Japan: one of her favorite places to which she travels for work and pleasure.
Rosalia says:
“Exploring is part of who I am as a musical artist, and in the case of ‘TUYA’ inspirations such as reggaeton, Japanese instruments, flamenco and techno gabber coexist at the same level”.
“TUYA” marks Rosalía’s first musical release since RR, her three-song joint project with her partner, Latin GRAMMY-winning reggaeton icon Rauw Alejandro.
