Roques. “As if”… A decade celebrated with panache!

Magician, tightrope juggler, street singer, circus artist, audacious and mischievous storytellers, cello concert, theatre… were on the program of the festivities organized by Marlène Mies-Boulet, director and actress with the “Comme si” company. which celebrated its 10 years of existence, of encounters, creations, scenic adventures and above all shared emotions.

From Friday March 11 to Saturday March 19, the public responded by being alongside talented actors and actresses who gave their all during their unforgettable shows on the Moulin de Roques stage.

At this closing evening, to a full house, two exceptional women, each with her sensitivity, charmed and seduced the conquered spectators. Marion Tiberge, known as “Coquille” on stage, cello virtuoso, composer, performer, was a delight, a great moment of sharing with the public. This one, during her travels assimilated colors, sounds. Overall, his music spoke of hope, of living together, of beauty, of difference.

Alone on stage, Marlène Mies-Boulet, sublime, touching, tragic, flayed, sometimes funny, who, already as a child, wanted to become “A good girl”, retraced the journey of different characters, highlighting the pangs of tyranny of the perfect body.

Marlène… Why this theme?

“It’s a subject that I find sensitive, a real subject of society that speaks to me as a woman and an actress. Behind the injunctions imposed by society, violence, consented or self-inflicted, is hidden. The quest for the perfect body is a struggle as painful as it is useless if we lose ourselves in the search for an imposed ideal. I hope that, through this show, each and everyone will accept their body, their wounds, their faults, to finally be the one that he is, unique and beautiful. Being free to accept his body, stop trying to fix something that hasn’t been broken; That’s what you should remember”! confided Marlene. Success was there for Marlène and her troupe… An anniversary worthily celebrated, with panache, worthy of the event!
