During the year, in addition to running the library and lending books, Maryjo organizes literary snacks on various themes from cultural news or new published works. Each time, around fifteen people meet to discuss, debate the chosen subject or to relate the last book read and give their impressions.
The year ends with the Christmas snack where festivities and sweets rival culture. This year, this meeting is not possible for health reasons that everyone knows today.
Maryjo wanted to thank her loyal readers by offering them a box of chocolates and wishing everyone a happy New Year’s Eve, hoping for a year 2021 with more freedom and therefore new dates.
She gives the chocolates to those coming to the library at the permanence. For the others, she will personally take them to their homes.
