A few days ago, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has played 16 games and scored 3 goals in all competitions this season, took Wayne Rooney to Piers Morgan in an interview.
The Portuguese forward has revealed his current relationship with Manchester United.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, 37, accused Rooney, also 37, of being jealous of his playing career and good looks. Ronaldo admitted their relationship suffered irreparable damage just weeks after Rooney was home, a position Wayne Rooney disliked.
The coach of DC United, a Majore Soccer League club in the United States that had initially decided not to respond to the five-fold Ballon d’Or award, has finally spoken out on the subject.
But the former England striker has finally spoken about the matter to the microphones of CNN.

“He is a fantastic player. He and Messi are probably the two best players in the world. And this is not a criticism, I just said that we are all getting older. Apparently it’s hard to get used to the idea,” the former Red Devil slipped into the microphones of CNN.
Rooney and Ronaldo were teammates at Old Trafford for five seasons, winning numerous titles together. Despite his former teammate’s scathing comments, the Red Devils’ all-time leading scorer seemed reluctant to completely sever ties with Ronaldo.
This Friday, the English press is talking about a possible termination of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract, following his criticisms of Manchester United and its manager Erik ten Hag during an interview with Piers Morgan.
On Friday morning, after both parts of the interview were aired, the club released a new statement which read: “Manchester United took appropriate action this morning in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview. We will not comment further until the process is complete.”
