Ronnie Romero surprised the rock world a few days ago with some inflammatory statements. Now he has wanted to qualify them. After indicating that he felt tired of the world and that “nobody has the education to be polite or, at least, speak to you as if you were a person. Everybody wants a piece of your cake as long as it’s free because if you give them your price they feel offended », he seems to have reconsidered.
In a recent interview he commented that «I got bored of everything around work What activities do you make every day. When I started in music I didn’t know how this worked and you think that everything is incredible. You come with your dreams and hopes and everything to try to make music and then you realize that there is a lot of shit and not just the business itself.
«Then you start to feel that people don’t care what you feel, something that is very important, because when you make music there are always feelings involved. Some people, not all because I have also received support from many people since my time in Lords of Black y en RainbowThey don’t feel anything for you They even tell you what to do, they send private messages to you or your family because you don’t like them. It is very sad. I was suffering from all that. I needed to say something to stop all this or, at least, to tell the world what was happening.
«I tried to expose all my feelings. Suddenly, people understood me and read my comments on social networks. They supported me a lot. I think it was worth it. I wanted the fans to understand that musicians are normal people like them. We have a job and we make music, something different from the usual jobs, but also we have feelings and wanted to express them, we pay the mortgage and we have feelings and family like everyone else ».
“If you listen to music you may or may not like it, you may not like what I do, but that’s all. People can tell me they don’t like me, but that’s it. We totally agree with Ronnie, but we fear each other a lot, and it is a personal opinion, that in some sentences of his message there was also some resentment against fellow musicians. Either way, Ronnie is one of the great hopes to certify the future of rock. We would like to know what you think about these new statements.
