A remarkable rise in power
With the enthusiasm of an ever-growing audience behind her – the 23-year-old singer has almost 1.4 million monthly listeners on the Spotify streaming platform, Ronisia delivered her first eponymous album in January 2022. A first effort which was a great success since it was certified gold in just seven months. And to celebrate, the young artist even unveiled a reissue in December, on which we could notably hear the Nigerian star CKay posing on the track “Problem”. Enough to allow Ronisia to win the title of Female Revelation of the Year during the very first Flames ceremony last May, and this opus to have more than 90,000 copies sold to date, bringing her closer to platinum certification. . Far from being satisfied with these beautiful promises, the interpreter of “Mélodie (Tatami)” marked his return last July with the unreleased single “C’est toi”. A magnetic title which demonstrated all his ambitions for the rest of his career. And this week, Ronisia has just done a double blow by delivering a new track called “Joli coeur”. We find there all the elements that have made its success so far: a melody so languorous and catchy, love stories, a voice tone that is still as remarkable as ever, with, as a bonus, a chorus that is as catchy as it is heady: “You play pretty hearts / You play pretty hearts / But I know you by heart”.
