Slovakia lives with the return of Martin Škrtel to our football pitches, the world with the return of Cristian Ronald to Manchester United. I must admit that they both pleased me with their decision. We all enjoyed United at a time when he was starting his career there. It’s nice when clubism wins out with such legends. I like it as much as the fact that it confirms its enormous quality when it returns. He has scored in each of the three matches so far, he is very helpful to the team.
He is already 36 years old and proves that age is only his number. Throughout his career, they compare Ronald to Messi, and in this respect the Portuguese seems to dominate. He is still able to prepare first class. I read that his former teammate Patrice Evra does not recommend going to visit Ronald with some humor. He will welcome you with a salad and invite you to train together. Alternatively, he will offer the services of his physiotherapists and masseurs. So that’s fun!
It may be funny to someone, but it says a lot about him. He has been doing everything in his career to be successful. Then even in 36 years you can be a star. His training is worth researching. It would be amazing if, at the end of his career, he revealed all the secrets of his training.
In this context, however, an equally important aspect of Ronald’s success needs to be added. He is, of course, also extremely talented. Talent alone is not enough at the highest level. Also, you can’t just reach the top with diligence. I met many players who lacked one of these much-needed ingredients. You can endure a lot, but not everything. And you can just waste talent without hard work. In any case, I repeat, it would be great if Cristiano moved his knowledge and experience further, let him have exceptional followers.
I’m Ronald’s peer and that’s why I can appreciate his relentless hunger for victories. He has my great admiration. It is difficult for many footballers to look for new motivation at his age. It didn’t seem to be true for him. In doing so, he won everything he could. His ego still commands him to be the best and it’s unbelievable that he’s doing well.
Ronald’s contribution to Manchester United can be huge. The club is gradually moving to return to a bit of lost fame. The great robot is taken away by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is the creator of the gradual progress of the “devils”.
In addition to Ronald, the excellent French tracker Varane, who achieved great success in Real Madrid, also joined the team during the last summer. In recent decades, we have become accustomed to the fact that football does not have one king. Cristiano was constantly vying with Lionel Messi for the honor of the best player on the planet. Personally, I was more inclined to the Argentine. In the distance, I found it less egocentric, which impressed me.
Today I have to admit that Ronaldo is more and more sympathetic to me. The way you have extended your career is exceptional. What he is still showing off on the lawn is breathtaking. And how it has adapted to trends, admirable. It may not be as fast as it used to be, but it still amazes with its technique and physical fitness. He is a complex football player who deserves great respect from all over the world.
