Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo has stopped a road in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, after his prized cars, worth around half a million pounds, arrived at a garage to be cleaned following a road trip from Manchester.
The transport trucks were seen carrying the belongings of Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo and his luxury cars, a Cadillac Escalade – a gift on his 37th birthday from his girlfriend Georgina – and another ‘Bentley’ model from his home of Manchester hours earlier announcing the termination of his contract with his English club Manchester United.
A week later, the same vehicles were spotted being delivered after a 2,500km journey to a valet and cleanup on the outskirts of the Portuguese international’s hometown.
An eyewitness told The Sun: The delivery driver tried to unload it as quietly as possible, but the lorry blocked the road and this disrupted traffic.
And he continued: Then he shot down the “Escalade” and the “Bentley” from behind, and they are very impressive.
He continued: “They tried to get them into the garage as fast as possible, but the cars still had British registration plates, so it was very easy to know that they were Ronaldo’s cars.”
He concluded: Maybe he wants to bring them home while planning his next step in football.
In the summer of 2021, Ronaldo returned to Manchester United from Juventus, Italy, having left in 2009 at Spain’s Real Madrid, following an initial spell that began in 2003, during which he won the English Premier League title three times and the 2008 European Champions League in the year he first won the Ballon d’Or, out of 5 accept the club’s contract termination with immediate effect after his attack on the coach and management during an interview to the media.
