Madrid –
Future Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus it is speculated after failing in the Champions League. Coach Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, was also asked about Ronaldo’s chances of returning.
Juventus brought in Ronaldo from Madrid in the summer of 2018. The Portuguese star was recruited at a fantastic value of 100 million euros, and is under contract until June 2022.
Juventus’ decision to buy Ronaldo is an attempt to end the fast for the Champions League title. Ronaldo has recorded five Champions League titles, one at Manchester United and four with Madrid.
Instead of ending thirst in the Champions League, Juventus are far from okay. The Old Lady in the first season was strengthened by Ronaldo only until the quarter-finals because he was eliminated by Ajax Amsterdam, two seasons later that Lyon and Porto were kicked out in the last 16.
Juventus’ failure in the Champions League has caused rumors that the Bianconeri are ready to let go Ronaldo at the end of this season. If you wait until the contract expires, Juventus will not get any income.
Madrid then got caught up in rumors of Ronaldo’s future at Juventus. Zidane was then asked about the possibility of the 36-year-old returning to Madrid, ahead of the match against Elche in LaLiga.
“Well, you know what Cristiano means for Madrid, what he has done, the love we all have for him and what he has done here is extraordinary,” Zidane said as quoted by Marca.
“But now he is a Juventus player and he is doing very well there. I cannot tell you anything, many things were said but you have to respect these things,” Zidane insisted.
Real Madrid have been working very hard after being left behind Ronaldo. Even the most prestigious title was only one LaLiga trophy after Ronaldo left.
