Ronaldo seen for the photos: “A real shame”

Manchester United achieved a dominant performance when they won 2-0 against Tottenham. Coach Erik ten Hag therefore chose to bench Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese received the entire game from the sidelines.

Just before the final whistle, Ronaldo was seen leaving the pitch at Old Trafford and walking down the players’ tunnel. Something that can be interpreted as an expression of dissatisfaction as the world star has been benched for much of the season.

Sky Sports expert Danny Mills disliked the actions of the United striker.

– If Ronaldo did it (he went into the players’ tunnel) it’s a real shame. He clearly believes he is bigger than the club.

“Who knows what Erik ten Hag will think,” writes the BBC.

Samuel Luckhurt, a Manchester Evening News reporter who closely follows Manchester United, believes it is time for the club to sell Ronaldo.

“It is in the interests of both the player and the club that Mendes (Jorge, agent) unlocks a way out for Ronaldo in January. He has not recovered from the pre-season failure when Manchester United set the game idea for his attack, “writes Luckhurst on Twitter and continues:

“Ronaldo wanted / wants to leave and risks becoming irrelevant while he is still at United”.

Erik ten Hag on the actions of his stellar striker.

– I saw him, but I didn’t talk to him afterwards. I’ll take care of it tomorrow (read Thursday), not today. Now we will celebrate this victory, says the United manager according to the Daily Mail.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United will last until this summer, 2023.
