Ronaldo Scores Goal, Indonesian U-19 National Team Beats Daegu University

Indonesian U-19 National Team managed to get the first victory during the training camp in South Korea. Garuda Nusantara beat Daegu University 2-1.

Indonesia vs Daegu University took place in Daegu, South Korea, Sunday (27/3/2022) afternoon WIB. The match lasted three games of 40 minutes each.

No goals in the first game. Daegu University then led 1-0 in the second game.

Shin Tae-yong’s team made a comeback in the third game. A goal from Kadek Arel changed the score to 1-1.

Indonesia finally got a win in this match. Is Ronaldo Kwateh who scored the decisive goal to bring Indonesia to finish the match with a score of 2-1.

In the previous two test matches, the Indonesian U-19 national team lost. Indonesia ran aground from Yeungnam University with a score of 1-5 and was crushed by the South Korean U-19 national team with a score of 0-7.

Shin Tae-yong has slightly improved the mentality of the players ahead of the fight against Daegu University. The South Korean coach said his team were too afraid to control the ball.

“Indeed, after the game, we focus on recovery exercises. When we concede the ball, players are afraid of the ball being shot. We practice today, so we don’t get scared and turn around when hit by the ball,” said Shin Tae-yong a few days ago, quoted as saying from the PSSI official website.

“Physically, our players are very lacking compared to the players of the South Korean team. Even the players are afraid of playing body so that they are afraid of controlling the ball so they concede a goal. In the future it will be good, organizationally and we will continue to train,” he added.
