Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo continues to score reliably in the Nations League. With his third goal in the third game, the 39-year-old captain led Portugal’s national team to an unchallenged 3-1 (2-0) against Poland and thus also won the goalscoring duel with two-time world footballer Robert Lewandowski.
With the full score of nine points, the Portuguese took a big step towards the play-offs. On Tuesday (8:45 p.m./DAZN), Ronaldo’s team could make it into the next round against Scotland in Glasgow.
In Warsaw, Bernardo Silva (26th) gave the 2016 European champions the lead after a stormy start for the Poles.
