Ronaldo scored four goals in the Saudi Arabian league

Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals in 40 minutes in the Saudi Arabian league to help his Al-Nassr team win 4-0 over Al Wehda. The former best player in the world, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, also crossed the 500 league goal mark in his career.

Ronaldo now has 503 league goals across five clubs in five different competitions: 103 for Manchester United, 311 for Real Madrid, 81 for Juventus, three for Sporting Lisbon and now five for al-Nasr.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner headed to Saudi Arabia at the end of last year after an early exit from Manchester United. He signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr and is expected to earn 200 million euros (over 4.8 billion crowns) annually. Al-Nassr leads the table after 16 games, with the same number of 37 points as second-placed Al-Shabab.
