Spanish media confirmed that star Cristiano Ronaldo may make a surprise appearance in the WWE wrestling competitions that will be held in Saudi Arabia.
AS newspaper reported that there are attempts for the Portuguese football legend to attend the competitions that will be held on November 4 with the participation of many of the most prominent freestyle wrestling stars, led by the legend John Cena.
“The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will receive a significant appearance fee if he agrees to appear alongside John Cena, who recently appeared in an ad to promote the event,” she added.
She continued: “Ronaldo will not be the first football player to participate in a WWE show. Rather, he will follow in the footsteps of his former Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney, who appeared on WWE Raw in 2015.”
