Ronaldo Nazario, a former Real Madrid and Inter player, confirmed that he attended the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday to support Karim Benzema, noting that he is the closest candidate to the award this year.
Ronaldo added, in statements to “On Time Sports”, saying: “It is a wonderful thing to be in Paris, a city where I have many friends.”
He continued: “This is Karim Benzema’s night and I am here for him.”
Karim Benzema led Real Madrid to the Champions League and La Liga last year.
The concert starts at nine in the evening, Cairo time, and will be held at the Chatelet Theater in the French capital, Paris, and presented by the famous magazine “France Football”.
