Al Nasser managed to beat Al Ettifaq 1-0 in continuation Saudi Pro League this season. Cristiano Ronaldo made his competitive debut in that match and played the full 90 minutes.
Playing at Mrsool Park, Monday (23/1/2023) early morning WIB, Al Nassr’s single winning goal was scored by Anderson Talisca in the 31st minute. The goal process started with crossing Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem which was released into the Al-Ettifaq penalty box.
There, there was actually Ronaldo who tried to welcome the bait, but failed. The ball that kept going actually managed to be struck by Talisca with a header which the opposing goalkeeper, Paulo Victor, failed to stop.
Mirror reported, Ronaldo, who came down as a lone striker, received a rousing welcome in this match. At the start of the match, Al Nassr fans even immediately roared every time he touched the ball.
It’s just that, he has not managed to score a goal in this match. He had a number of chances, but all failed to produce goals.
In the first 10 minutes of the game, his shot was blocked by Al Ettifaq’s rearguard. Towards the end of the first half, his free kick bounced over the opponent’s goal.
Something similar happened at the start of the second half, when his long-range shot went off target. But he also helped attack, one of which was by providing a mature pass to his partner, Pity Martinez, although in the end it failed to lead to a goal.
