Ronaldo missed United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, which has fueled speculation about his future. The Portuguese star just returned to training with MU in the middle of last week.

However, Ronaldo was withdrawn at half-time and replaced by Amad Diallo. Diallo, who had just entered, then opened MU’s advantage in the 48th minute.
Although Ronaldo has already featured for United, his future is still a matter of speculation after he was seen leaving the stadium before the game was over. From the photos circulating on social media, Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot – who did not make the squad to fight Rayo Vallecano – were seen walking towards the Old Trafford parking lot.

According to the Mirror, Manchester United declined to comment on whether Ronaldo’s departure had been approved. The attitude of the former Real Madrid and Juventus player certainly makes the question mark about his future even bigger.
Ronaldo reportedly still wants to leave Manchester United even though he has returned to training. He had already expressed his wish in his conversation with Erik ten Hag.
The MU vs Rayo Vallecano match itself was finally finished with a score of 1-1. The Red Devils will kick off the Premier League by hosting Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
