Cristiano Ronaldo asked about when to retire together Portugal National Team ahead of fight Northern Macedonia. He was not happy with the question.
Portugal vs North Macedonia are elbowing each other to win tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The duel took place at Dragao, Wednesday (30/3/2022) early in the morning WIB.
Ronaldo as captain of Portugal, appeared in the press conference before the match. Well, at that moment Ronaldo was asked by reporters about his future in Portugal and was a little offended.
“I’ve started to see the same questions many times. I’m the one who will determine my future, no one else,” said Ronaldo, quoted from the official Manchester United website.
“If I feel like playing more, I will play. If not, I don’t play. I’m in charge, period.”
Ronaldo insists the match against North Macedonia is like any other game that brings pressure. His opponent is in the spotlight after eliminating the Italian national team.
“There is always pressure. We are all ready. We really want to play in this final. If North Macedonia are here, it is because they deserve it,” Ronaldo revealed.
“Nothing is more important than anyone. We really want to bring Portugal to the World Cup,” Ronaldo confirmed.
