Football ace Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Saudi Arabia’s Arnasr. The deal could have made him one of the highest-paid athletes in the world.
Although Arnasr did not disclose, the British newspaper The Sun reported that the annual salary of Ronaldo (37) of the Portugal representative could exceed 200 million dollars (about 26 billion yen). It is said that he was 26 million pounds (about 4.1 billion yen) at Manchester United (Man U) of the English Premier League, to which he belonged until recently.
“I can’t wait to experience a new football league in a different country,” Ronaldo said in Arnasr’s statement.
