Ronaldo Claims to Support Enrique at Man Utd

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

At the moment Zinedine Zidane widely said to be a coach Manchester United replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Cristiano Ronaldo instead supports the figure of another coach.

Zidane is a strong candidate to replace Solskjaer because he has good relations with Ronaldo and Raphael Varane, and has glanced at Paul Pogba when he was in charge of Real Madrid.

But his good relationship with Ronaldo does not necessarily make the Portuguese star not necessarily support Zidane’s move.

Sky Sport journalist, Rob Dorsett, said Ronaldo actually gave support to the former Barcelona coach who is now in charge of the Spanish national team, Luis Enrique.

Ronaldo has never felt Enrique’s polish, but the 36-year-old has been an opponent of the former Spain midfielder.

When Enrique led Barcelona to the Spanish La Liga champions in the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons, Ronaldo was still competing at Real Madrid.

In addition to success at the local level, Enrique also led Barcelona to the Champions League title in the 2014/2015 season.

While Enrique is off the radar of potential Man Utd coaches who will replace Solskjaer, several other names touted as candidates besides Zidane are Brendan Rodgers, Erik Ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino.

Man Utd announced that Solskjaer was no longer in charge on Sunday (21/11) or the day after the Red Devils’ defeat to Watford.

Previously, Man Utd was said to be sacking Solskjaer after losing 5-0 to Liverpool. But after that Man Utd can win over Tottenham Hotspur.
