At Cristiano Ronaldo, things are not going according to the measures at the moment. After poor performances, CR7 had to listen to a lot of criticism and in most of the Premiere League matches they also had to sit on the bench right from the start. Criticism continues to greet the 37-year-old. Over the weekend, Ronaldo posted a photo on Instagram with psychologist Jordan Peterson. Ronaldo poses with his thumb up and writes: “Nice to see you, my friend!”
Many Twitter and Instagram users are angry about Ronaldo’s photo. The Portuguese is described by some as crazy, others find the photo disturbing and disappointing.
Peterson spoke of a trans person having breast surgery
Canadian conservative Jordan Peterson is an extremely controversial figure. In the last two years, he has lashed out against Corona and against vaccination. At the same time, he has often spoken out against women and the LGBT community.
Peterson first rose to fame in 2016 when he mocked a Canadian parliament bill designed to protect sexual minorities. In 2017, he was banned from Twitter for talking about transgender actor Elliot Page’s breast surgery. He is also accused of disseminating misogynistic gender models in his books and then selling them to insecure men.
With his books and videos, the 60-year-old reaches several million people around the world and is celebrated primarily in the right-wing conservative scene. He is particularly appreciated by the “alternative right” movement, which is said to be responsible for the assault on the Capitol.
Ronaldo’s season hasn’t gone according to plan so far
For Ronaldo, the shit storm is another negative point this season. The Portuguese made only 297 minutes out of 630 possible minutes in a competitive match. He hasn’t scored any goals yet and the Red Devils have lost both starter appearances in the XI (0: 4 against Brentford, 0: 1 against Real Sociedad). (love)
