Cristiano Ronaldo did not show a special appearance in the match which ended in a 1-1 draw. He even immediately left the stadium when replaced by Amad Diallo in the second half.

Erik ten Hag annoyed with Ronaldo’s attitude to leave a teammate before the game ended. This condition also strengthens the speculation that CR7 is not comfortable at MU and wants to immediately move to another club.

MU legend, Gary Neville, commenting on Ronaldo’s current situation. In his view, the 37-year-old doesn’t fit Ten Hag’s pressing style of play.

“We know him [Ronaldo] can’t do that [pressing tinggi] – and the way he wants to play with the ball, I’m not sure he fits into the Ten Hag scheme,” said Neville, quoted from Daily Mail.

“When the statement came out that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to leave and then Monday morning I thought something else came out – I’m not sure the club was even aware of it,” he added.

“The timing was terrible towards the start of the season, it ruined Ten Hag immediately – it meant that Ten Hag really had to deal with Ronaldo’s problems at every press conference.”

“I think looking back, Pep [Gaurdiola], [Jurgen] Klopp, [Antonio] Conte, Sir Alex Ferguson – if a player is to be a dominating factor, and a distraction in press conferences for a manager, there is only one thing to do. We all know that,’ Neville said.
