Actor Ron Perlman, while talking to CBM reporters, shared details about his role as Hellboy in the eponymous series of films directed by Guillermo del Toro, and also explained why he refused to star in the restart of the franchise. As it turned out, the star was offered to take part in the filming of the remake, and even in the lead role, but he refused.

According to the actor, he simply was not interested in acting in that version of the film “Hellboy”, which Guillermo del Toro did not shoot. On a very peaceful note, he completed negotiations with the crew of the new film and wished them good luck, but the shooting went without him. Perlman also revealed the secret why the third film about the superhero with his participation has still not been released. Guillermo del Toro was to blame for everything, namely his busy work schedule, in which there simply is no place for another tape about a hero from hell.

Recall that the restart of the film “Hellboy” was a failure, the budget of the tape amounted to $ 50 million, and at the box office she collected only 44 million.
