Romerikes Blad – Get rid of Dreamliner aircraft

It writes the online newspaper E24.

The airline confirms to the online newspaper that the company will get rid of two aircraft of the type Boeing 787-9, which is the larger of the two Dreamliner variants Norwegian has in the fleet.

– It happens through the planes being returned to the leasing company that owns them, the airline says.

The case was first mentioned by the website Airways Magazine, but the American website wrote that the planes were to be sold to the Italian company Neos, which is not true. The leasing company AerCap will get the planes. According to E24, Aercap is also a shareholder in Norwegian.

All Norwegian’s Dreamliner aircraft are currently parked, as all long-haul routes have been put on hold until further notice. The two planes that are now going out are parked at Oslo Airport.
