For reasons still unknown, the young man killed seven people in two houses on West Acres Road in Joliet. Deputy Sheriff Dan Jungles said five of the bodies were found with gunshot wounds in one building and the other two in the second. The victims are believed to be from the same family. The motive for the mass killing is unknown at this time, but investigators believe Romeo Nance knew his victims.
