Romelu Lukaku Sets Record with Four Goals in Belgium’s Euro 2024 Qualifiers Victory Over Azerbaijan

Romelu Lukaku scored four goals at the time Belgium won over Azerbaijan in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Lukaku set a record with these goals.

Lukaku is now listed as the player with the most goals in Euro qualifying (14 goals). He surpassed the record previously held by Northern Ireland’s David Healy (2008) and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski (2016) with 13 goals.

Overall Lukaku has scored 83 goals in 113 appearances with the Belgian national team. The 30-year-old striker is now in seventh place on the list of all-time top scorers in international football.

In Europe, Lukaku’s number of goals at international level is only behind Cristiano Ronaldo (127 goals for Portugal) and Ferenc Puskas (84 goals for Hungary).

With his goals against Azerbaijan, Romelu Lukaku continuing his good performance this season. At club level, Lukaku scored nine goals in 14 matches with AS Roma in all competitions.
