Lukaku scored four goals against Azerbaijan in just 20 minutes. He listed his name on the scoreboard in the 17′, 26′, 30′ and 37′ minutes.
An additional three goals made Lukaku finish as the top scorer in qualifying for Euro 2024. The striker, who is currently playing for AS Roma, has collected 14 goals.
Lukaku beat Cristiano Ronaldo who scored 10 goals. Ronaldo failed to score when Portugal won 2-0 over Iceland at the Estadio Jose Alvalede.
