Rombach confident in the restructuring of ETM Engineering Technologie Marketing

M&A process going well

Insolvency administrator Rolf Rombach is still confident that the restructuring of the automotive supplier ETM Engineering Technologie Marketing GmbH, Saalburg-Ebersdorf, will succeed. Preliminary insolvency proceedings were initially ordered for the company’s assets by decision of the Gera district court on October 13, 2021. The insolvency proceedings were opened on February 1, 2022. Despite the generally difficult economic and political environment, Rombach is satisfied with the ongoing business operations.

“We continue to be in close contact with ETM’s customers, especially with the car manufacturers. By working closely with them, with business performance and daily tracking, we are able to fully continue business operations. The employees, who fully support the company, make an important contribution to this. I would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment,” said Rombach. André Rombach, who coordinates the M&A process in Rombach’s insolvency administrator’s team, adds: “After the first intensive takeover talks, the M&A process is going very well. All discussions confirm the high quality of ETM GmbH.”

ETM Engineering Technologie Marketing GmbH, founded in 1999, specializes in the manufacture of plastic components and systems for the automotive industry. The company’s main focus is to support CO2 reduction through advanced engine ventilation parts for turbocharged engines. Since 2020, this has been supplemented by new material developments in order to use recycled materials and bio-plastics in various industries, including those outside the automotive sector. ETM currently employs 405 people and 22 trainees.
