A news bulletin said today Sunday that Brazilian striker Romarinho, the striker of Saudi club Al-Ittihad, began yesterday, Saturday, to undergo electrical sessions at the site of the front muscle injury to speed up treatment.
This is in the hope of his recovery in time to participate in the match between Clasico and Al-Nasr, scheduled at Marsool Park in Riyadh, within the fifth stage of the Saudi Roshan League.
And the Saudi newspaper, “Al-Riyadia”, said private sources revealed to them that the step taken by the Al-Ittihad Club medical staff aims to speed up the player’s recovery after staying eight days in the club’s clinic.
Romarinho was injured during his team’s last game against the Gulf in the fourth round of the Saudi League.
In the same context, sources indicated that the team’s defender, Ahmed Sharahili, has removed the orthosis he had placed on his foot joint, and will undergo another medical examination.
The sources added that Algerian Ali praises the club’s chief of medical staff, who developed a special program for the player over a period of six weeks, of which two have elapsed.
Sharahili was injured during his team’s match against Al-Raed on 9 September, in the third round of the league.
