They said yes on February 22, 2003 in Karlštejn, and today they are among the most stable couples in Czech show business. The singer wished her husband a happy anniversary on the social network, where she wrote him a touching confession.
Helena Vondráčková shared pictures with her fans on Instagram from her wedding, which took place exactly twenty years ago in Karlštejn. Even after years, the singer is head over heels in love with her husband, as evidenced by the message she attached to the pictures.
“February 22nd is our unforgettable date! It’s unbelievable, but today we will celebrate 20 years of beautiful coexistence. We are incredibly happy with Martin and so we are sailing on,” the star confessed her feelings.
Martin Michal stated in the past that they had to overcome a number of obstacles on their journey together, be it people who did not wish them love, or numerous media appearances that did not exactly benefit the relationship either. But these experiences eventually strengthened and cemented their bond. “It’s gone like water, but we’re still enjoying it like the beginning,” the singer’s husband confided to the website zivotvcesku.cz with the fact that they are planning an unconventional celebration this year.
Party at the hotel
“We have a tradition of always going to a restaurant with people from our closest circle of friends, but this year we will have it in a well-known Czech hotel. Our closest friends will be there again, including Jiřinka Bohdalová, who comes to our every anniversary,” Martin Michal revealed to the aforementioned website.
The businessman still remembers the day he met Helena Vondráčková. “It was on the way to a vacation in Greece,” he recalled, adding that he always gives his beloved a flower on anniversaries. “We don’t give each other gifts, always just a flower,” he explained.
As the singer has never had children, she is especially happy with her female dog Jessinca, which she got two years ago after the death of her last pet. “Of course, our female German shepherd Jessinka is a great joy for us. She turned two years old exactly on February 4, so the month of February is a month of celebration for us,” concluded the husband of the popular star.
Vondráčková was married to German musician Helmut Sickel for twenty years, whom she met at the festival in Sopot. The divorce took place peacefully and the spouses then amicably agreed on everything, including the division of property.
