Romans / Peyrins – Blood donation: “We are counting on you!”

The last blood drive for the Romans blood donor association took place on Monday, March 14.

The collection welcomed 92 donors, including four new ones, who are now part of the Lifeguards. They are therefore now participating in the great and beautiful family of altruistic citizens.

Their primary concern is that everyone can be treated with quality blood products, and with complete confidence, day after day. A big thank you to everyone.

A reminder, it takes 100,000 blood bags daily. Last month, 70,000 were in stock. It’s not just words, the 30,000 missing pockets will worry some patients, as well as hospital services.

Everyone, one day, could urgently need this substance that we do not care about when we are healthy, BLOOD, and its derivatives, PLASMA and PLATELET.

Don’t forget to register on the register bone marrow, before the age of 35. Not to be confused with spinal cord. One in a million chance of finding its tissue twin in the world. Find out during a collection, the bone marrow is also very important to health.

Next collection Friday, March 25 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the village hall in Peyrins.

Next month, the Romanaise collection will be moved to the Charles-Michels room. It will be Monday, April 11, from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tell your donor friends.

Parking will be reserved for this occasion, rue du Puy rue Mandrin, and rue Sainte-Marie.

The next General Assembly of Volunteer Blood Donors in Romans and its surroundings will be held on Friday May 20 at 6:30 p.m., also in the Charles-Michels room.
