Fabrizio Romano, market expert, took stock of the possible exchange between Inter and Barcelona for Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie
Speaking on the microphones of “House of Champions”, CBSSport podcast, Fabricius Romanjournalist and market expert, took stock of the possible exchange between Inter and Barcelona Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie: “The swap was proposed by agents close to Barcelona and Inter, the proposal is on the table and the two clubs have discussed it in recent days. Now it’s up to the coaches, especially Xavi: they have to decide whether to keep him until the end of the season or let him return in Italy Xavi is the man who has to decide: Kessie, from what I have gathered, has opened up the possibility of going to Inter.
Brozovic’s priority is to stay at Inter, he’s not currently speaking with Barcelona. He depends on the Catalans and Xavi: at the moment there is no green light from Xavi to let Kessie go. It’s an idea, not an advanced negotiation yet: it takes time, we’ll probably know something in the next few days. Inter are thinking of hiring a physical player: that’s why Kessie is on the list. The Nerazzurri already wanted him when he was at Atalanta, before he went to Milan: he has always been one of Ausilio’s favourites. Now they want a physical midfielder, another name they want is Yunus Musah: they appreciate him a lot, but he’s not on sale in January. But Inter want that type of player, we’ll see if sacrificing Brozovic, if necessary, will be the right choice.”
