Romania’s ambassador to the US moved into a luxury residence with 46 rooms / The Romanian state pays $21,000 a month in rent – PressHub

The Ambassador of Romania to the USA, Andrei Muraru, moved his office to a luxury building in Washington that belonged to the Iranian diplomacy. The building has 46 rooms, 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and a swimming pool and is located on a property of more than 2000 square meters, it says PressHub.

For this residence, the Romanian state pays 21,000 dollars per month.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the former residence of the Romanian ambassador in Washington “requires extensive rehabilitation that includes major repairs, renovation and sanitization”.
