After a few days of snow and frost, the weather changes again. There is a gradual increase in temperatures throughout the country and rain in some regions, Florinela Georgescu, director of forecasting at ANM, told Digi24.
These days, it was clear skies in the mountainous areas, while there were low clouds or fog in the lowlands.
“This aspect of the weather remains and tomorrow, especially in the south-east and central part of the territory, there will be clouds, light precipitation, wet and foggy conditions in low-lying areas. From tomorrow evening, precipitation will begin in the western part of the country. Until Wednesday there will be mixed precipitation – rain, sleet, snow in the mountains, but especially in the western, northern and central areas,” said Georgescu.
A few warmer days are ahead, when maximum temperatures will even reach 12-14 degrees Celsius.
“From tomorrow we start coming under the influence of a cyclonic formation from the Atlantic Ocean again. It is developing very quickly, advancing very quickly across the continent. It will influence the weather in the next few days with mixed precipitation as the weather warms up,” the meteorologist said.
“We are happy that it will be warmer, but we need a bit of attention for the western regions, because Banat, Crișana, Maramureș can accumulate more significant amounts of water in these 3 days. On the other hand, precipitation could cover the whole country on Thursday, then narrow to the southern regions, with the onset of a slight cooling process, a cooling that we will feel next week. It is possible that next weekend we will have a more important change in the weather”, said Georgescu.
