Jean Dujardin, like the entire team of Roman Polanski’s film, was not in the Salle Pleyel, Friday evening, during the 45th Cesar ceremony. He therefore did not attend the departure of actress Adèle Haenel, to express her indignation and anger at the time of the announcement of the prize for best director awarded to the Franco-Polish filmmaker. But the numerous protests which surrounded this recognition, considered unacceptable by feminists and a part of the public opinion, did not escape the actor of “The Artist” who incarnates, in “J’accuse”, the main role.
This Sunday morning, on Instagram, Jean Dujardin posted several photos of the filming of this historic thriller inspired by the Dreyfus Affair. With this legend: “I say it again. In making this film, I believed and I still hope that I did more good than bad”.
