This week became a new Gears of War novel announced, which starts immediately after Gears of War 3. “Gears of War: Ephyra Rising” is about rebuilding, because part 3 left the world in pieces. While Lieutenant Anya Stroud tries to unite the people, Sergeant Marcus Fenix must find his place in this new world, which at first glance has no obvious enemy. The exposure suggests, however, that the old squad will have to take up arms again to fight you “all too human, extremely ruthless enemy” to fight back. The author is Michael A. Stackpole, whose writing style some readers might know from English-language Star Wars or World of Warcraft books. This book will also only be available in English for the time being, from September 28th.
