A girl was brutally beaten and raped by two men in a Plovdiv village. The crime took place a month ago in the village of Voysil, Trafficnews reported.
People are outraged that the case has not been made public so far. What’s more, in one of the Facebook groups, comments about the hoax and the details around it were deleted.
The victim is 16 years old. The girl trained with her friend every day, as they both ran the same route. On the unfortunate day, however, the girl’s acquaintance failed to join the daily run.
However, the 16-year-old began her usual workout. The girl passed by the local stadium, where there was a match earlier. There were four locals in the Roma neighborhood who were already drunk.
They noticed the girl and followed her. Two returned, but the others did not give up. Towards the end of the village, near the Blue Bridge area, the duo pressed the girl and abducted her. Near one of the dikes, the men started hitting her and then raped her.
People from the village said that for more than two hours the Roma had been joking with the girl, beating her and raping her one after the other. After the hoax, the 16-year-old was thrown into the ditch.
Meanwhile, the girl’s relatives were worried that she was not at home. You didn’t pick up the phone either. The parents contacted the girl’s friend, who told them about the route they were taking.
People rushed to look for the girl. Eventually, the father finds her unconscious, covered with the jacket of one of the abusers.
The girl was taken to hospital, where she spent a long time. Police were also called, and the next day the perpetrators were found and taken to the police.
According to locals, both are from Voysil’s Roma neighborhood, adults.
Both are currently in pre-trial detention. On March 22, the District Court took the most severe measure of restraint, “custody,” and the Court of Appeals upheld the decision a week later.
“Police have been touring the village for weeks, mostly around the Roma neighborhood. The rumor also spread to Saedinenie and Benkovski. “People are outraged, but also scared,” commented residents of Voysil.
