The coronavirus pandemic is jeopardizing the football economy, but many clubs can count on the efforts of their players to get by. This is particularly the case for AS Rome. The Italian club announces this Sunday that its players and the technical staff have agreed not to collect their salaries from March to June. They also decided to supplement the salaries of club employees placed on partial unemployment.
“The players, the coach and his staff have all proved that we are really in the same boat. Edin Dzeko (the captain), all the players and Paulo Fonseca have shown that they understand what this club represents and we thank them also for their superb gesture towards the employees of the club, “said giallorosso general manager Guido Fienga in a press release.
