Rolucan installs a face-to-face table to reserve the solidarity shirt for the 19th

Throughout this Saturday, September 18, but also on the 25th of this month and October 2, Rolucan volunteers will be in person in the Plaza del Centro Social El Molino so that those who want to collaborate by buying the shirt solidarity for October 19, and they do not understand very well with the new technologies, they can do it in a simple way.

From this morning from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and during this Saturday afternoon, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., there will be a table where those interested can reserve their shirt and pay for it to be able to pick it up between October 11 and 15.

At the moment, there are already 500 registrations among which are being managed online through the Gesconchip.es platform, and those received this Saturday morning.

They already know from Rolucan from the experience of other years that it is at the last minute when citizens are encouraged to buy it, but this time, to avoid crowds, they encourage not to leave it for the end. Those who can manage the reservation and payment from Gesconchip.es can continue to do so, and for those who cost the online option, they will have this Saturday afternoon, in addition to the next two Saturdays.

From Rolucan, the association for the fight against cancer of Rota, they encourage people from Rota to participate in this initiative that comes to replace the traditional solidarity race and march that had been held before the health crisis on the eve of October 19, World Day to Fight Breast Cancer. This year, as it was already decided in its day, citizens who wish to collaborate will be invited to buy the shirt, with a María Díaz design, which costs 6 euros, and wear it on October 19. Thus, although you will not be able to see the tide of people that other editions have gathered around this solidarity event running or walking through the streets of Rota, you will be able to see at least many citizens wearing this message of struggle and encouragement to those who are going through an oncological process.

During the editions of the race and solidarity march, more than 3,500 registrations have been reached, and this year, with the solidarity shirt, it is expected that participation will also be high because in this way, Rota on October 19 will be full of white t-shirts with a warrior in the center who portrays the strength that we all have and especially those who face a disease such as cancer.

This morning, at the face-to-face table for the reservation of shirts was the author of the design, María Díaz, who could not be at the presentation due to the death of her father. Many citizens have come today, and at all times, safety distances have been respected so that this activity does not put anyone’s health at risk.

Rolucan trusts that the sale of the solidarity shirt will continue to rise because with that money many of the services that this association offers to people with cancer are guaranteed and also, a part is allocated to research to find a cure or better treatments.
