Over the weekend, many in the US were able to experience a solar eclipse, an astrological event in which the Moon blocks the Sun for a short period of time. To celebrate this special event, Rolls-Royce announced a new limited line of cars inspired by the solar eclipse.
Known as the Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis Private Collection, this collection is limited to just 25 examples, with each using Rolls-Royce’s Starlight Headliner animation to create a bespoke interior experience that reflects the solar event.
To add to this, the exterior of the car is a deep copper color that is supposed to resemble the transition from sunlight to darkness as the Moon approaches and covers the Sun.
Rolls-Royce has already stated that all 25 versions of the car have been allocated to customers around the world.
