(Elbil24.no): Rolls-Royce is the first manufacturer of ultra-luxury cars to come with a pure electric car.
It is clearly not a bad choice, because even before the first car is on the street, customers are queuing up to buy the Spectre, as the car is called.
This despite the fact that the price is sky-high and the range is nothing to brag about.
Now Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös has a clear message for those who have managed to get a place in the queue and plan to sell the car on to make money from it:
– You will immediately be put on a blacklist, and that’s it – you will never, ever get the chance to buy a car from us again, says Müller-Ötvös in an interview with Car Dealer Magazine.

DKK 4.5 million
He goes on to say that those who want a Specter must go through a careful assessment by Rolls-Royce before they are allowed to buy.
According to Müller-Ötvös, over 40 percent of those who have so far slipped through the eye of the needle are new customers at Rolls-Royce.

The first customers will receive their car during the autumn. The price is around 350,000 pounds, or 400,000 euros.
What Specter will cost if it comes to Norway is perhaps not so important, but it will probably be around NOK 4.5 million.
It clearly doesn’t scare any of the customers. The demand is therefore far greater than what the factory had envisaged. Already before the car is on the road, plans are made for increased production.
Speaking of luxury electric cars. Have you seen this newcomer?
The range not all the world
The battery in the car is around 100 kWt, weighs 700 kilograms and should be able to provide a range of around 520 kilometers – at best.
In winter it will probably end up with 350 kilometres. In other words, you don’t get all the range in the world for NOK 4.5 million.
The engine has 585 horses and should be able to take the car from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Pretty good for a car that weighs almost three tons.
THE BLACKLIST: – If you buy a Rolls-Royce Specter to make money on resale, you may never buy such a car again, says the RR manager. view more
The Specter is the first, but not the last, electric car from Rolls-Royce. By 2030, the plan is for all cars from the factory to have electric drivetrains.
– An electric drive perfectly fits what Rolls-Royce stands for. We will build luxurious, fast, comfortable and quiet cars. Specter and our next electric cars will be exactly that, said the Rolls-Royce boss during the launch of Spectre.
